Implants

Dental implants are small titanium screws which are placed into the maxilla or mandible (the bone making up the lower and upper jaws). These are indicated in the replacement of one to multiple teeth or in complete upper and lower dentures. A dental implant is placed in the missing tooth area and allowed to integrate in to the bone for 4-6 months. Following integration in the bone, a crown is placed on the implant.
